The Village of Aviston is seeking applicants to fill the position of Chief of Police. Candidates will be expected to provide professional, hands-on leadership and management while building strong communications/relationships with the Aviston Village Board, current police officers, and most importantly our community.

The Village will accept applications on this vacancy through September 30, 2024, 4pm. Applications can be picked up and returned to the Village Hall, located at 149 S Page Street, Aviston IL 62216. Additional documents such as a resume, transcripts and/or certifications are encouraged, but only accepted if accompanied by a completed employment application.
